Use:

1. Take a soft tape measure & loosely measure the highest point of a dog's neck, just below the ears.
2. Reference size guide of selected collar & choose the appropriate size.
3. Place collar around dog's neck, at the highest point & attach. Adjust size until your two fingers move easily when placed between the collar & dog's neck.
4. Regularly check collar to ensure it fits appropriately as over time the collar may stretch or need to be adjusted as the dog grows.

If attaching a leash to a collar on a dog like a Greyhound that has a head that is narrower than the neck, a martingale style collar should be used to prevent collar from slipping off.
