• Having a well-placed water station in your yard year-round
• Ensure there are bushes and landscape plants nearby as they provide homes and nesting areas for birds
• For best results, locate your feeders within 15-20 feet of large trees or plants, if possible.
• Since birds have different feeding preferences, consider placing several types of feeders in various locations in your yard. Place them at different heights to accommodate a variety of species.
• Clear your feeders regularly to avoid seed rot. Make it a habit to clean out the seed before adding fresh product.
• To discourage squirrels, place your feeder at least four feet above the ground and eight feet away from closest jumping-off point. You may also wish to install a squirrel baffle
